ReplyI’m calling BS.
ReplyFirst job of journalism is to inform in an objective manner and provide context.
In the US and UK, the media has failed in that.
Few people in the US know that the context is a 56 year old occupation by Israel of lands they have no right to. That’s not an opinion, that’s settled international law.
If you want unbiased sources on the actions of the Israel military, read Amnesty, HRW and what UN observers have reported – not selfserving corporate journalists and politicians in bed together.
John Dickerson – Great presenter and personality, as is Stephen, of course. 🙂
Reply@1:37, Mr. Dickerson mentions what a shame it is that supposed misinformation circulated about the Al-Ahli mosque explosion, attributing it to the Israelis (implying it was Hamas). A recent NYT’s analysis shows that footage Israel submitted was false (taken two miles from the site). The matter cannot be determined conclusively in the middle of airstrikes. However, Israel has struck 62 health centers since 10/7.
ReplyThere is a genocidal massacre unfolding funded by US tax dollars, and this is the coverage it gets? You are on the wrong side of history. (How about having Palestinians on for once?)
ReplySo boring.

ReplySo much Pallywood in the News. And yet people believe it.
ReplyWhen the bombs start falling,
ReplyAnd the cops are calling,
That’s when you,
‘Give It A Rest’!
If the sin to remove McCarthy was really to make a deal with Dems, then you can be sure Mark Thomson will not do a deal with Dems ever.
ReplyThanks John.
ReplyIt’s the tunnels that surprised me. I suppose they shouldn’t, because tunnels are key to Mexican drug smuggling and human trafficking. That’s a lot closer to home.
ReplyStill, living in Florida, the water table is so high, one inch of rain can cause street flooding. We don’t have basements for that reason.
Nonetheless, tunnels were discovered in Ybor City. They were used during Prohibition to smuggle booze.
So, anything is possible.
Big question nobody asks anybody, “How do we defeat donnie’s cult and keep him out of the Oval Office”?!?!? I realize that publicly answering this question might be stupid b/c it gives him a way to combat the answer, but dang it folks…..THIS IS SERIOUS!!! His cult is going to get him re-elected!
