Anyone seen Scorsese’s latest about the Native Americans killed for oil money? It got great reviews but I found it painful to sit through and way too long. I can’t remember the last time I was so happy a movie was finally over. I think what I hated was all the Native Americans were such nothing characters, showing no agency and minimal involvement in solving the crimes and the two main characters were such unlikable schmucks. Characters like Pesci in Goodfellas were sociopaths but they had some charm and were interesting to watch.
Pesci tells Santa to go home get his shine box. Then goes to his mother’s house and explains that all the blood was from when they hit a “ReinDeer” and the hoof got stuck in his sleigh. Then Mother then shows him a picture of old white haired guy in Boat and say’s it reminds him of someone. Script done.
“It didn’t matter. It didn’t mean anything. If I was broke, I’d go out and ask for more tithes. We ran everything. We paid off legionaries. We paid off village elders. We paid off senators. Everybody had their hands out. Everything was for the taking. And now it’s all over…”
My thoughts and prayers are with anyone offended and outraged by this. I only hope these same people are as offended and outraged at the Republican depiction of The Great DJT as America’s Messiah. This was comedy. Trump is no joke.
Can you imagine if this movie is the 2nd coming? Lol or the false prophet stuff
ReplyI knew he would break down and make a super hero movie one day.

ReplyMartin Scorsese ALREADY DID A JESUS CHRIST FILM IN THE 80S
ReplyThe story of Jesus definitely needs some revision. Too much historical evidence suggests that what The Church tells us is half propaganda.
ReplyHard to make a movie about a person who didn’t even exist.
ReplySuperbly done, Team LSSC. 💎
As a life-long atheist, I fully endorse this satire! 🤣👍

ReplyWell done!
ReplyIt’s so disrespectful to joke about our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.
ReplyEvil show.👎💔

ReplyDidn’t Scorsese direct The Last Temptation of Christ?
