My mom works at an elementary school in the front office here in Central Texas, & following what happened in Uvalde I worry for her safety. On the 1 hand, I want her to be protected from a dangerous person who could wonder into the school. On the other hand, I doubt she’s willing to pay for a gun that she’d have to carry on her at all times then be asked to potentially shoot someone (especially since most shooters are current or former students).
