Which is worse: nosy neighbors, or annoyingly loud neighbors? Daily Show correspondent Dulcé Sloan and Daily Show writer Josh Johnson discuss which neighbors they’d rather have, if there’s a benefit to having extra-nosy neighbors, their favorite arguments they’ve heard through paper-thin apartment walls, and why they’d prefer neither kind of neighbor. #DailyShow #Comedy #HoldUp

Oh wow I’m glad that he explained this so noisy neighbor doesn’t just necessarily have to do with music but just anything loud hookups loud sounds just generally anything. So yeah definitely prefer nosy after you said that
ReplySee Josh gets it a nosy neighbor can save your life. I don’t know if she was a nosy neighbor but I heard a story the other day of this lady that was able to warn this family that their garage is on fire and she showed up by the ring camera trying to get their attention at around 1:00a.m. to get them out and if it wasn’t for her they would not have survived.
ReplyDoes it count as nosy if they live upstairs and they shout, so you have to concentrate to not hear them and you can’t sleep because apparently 4 am dance parties are a thing?
ReplyI subscribed that for Trevor but I am continually seeing someone else in each episode.
ReplyWorse than nosey or noisy : bully neighbors. Don’t get me started.
ReplyGirrrl, how did you not run out of your building screaming after you saw the 40 flies?!? Poor man, may he RIP, but still, run out!
ReplyI think this is a cultural thing, and it is also about how much space you have.
ReplyNeighborhood, where I live, nobody wants to know about anybody. We kindly greet each other every morning, but further, than that I don’t even know their names.
In the past 15 years, we have experienced some teenagers with booming radios, but there is always someone who complains and that is that. My closest neighbor across the street is 85 and he blasts that turntable with Classical music every Sunday morning. But, so It happens I also enjoy Lizt, so I wouldn’t change my space.
Too much zuzuzuzuzu
Replytoo much watchy watchy waw
If I HAD to pick, I would choose a nosy neighbor over a loud one. My current neighbors are LOUD and it gets on my f*cking nerves. They had a party on a Wednesday night when others need to be sleeping for work the next day. As much as I would rather talk to them myself so they can tone it down, I choose to call the authorities because they do not understand that type of etiquette. It is a foreign concept. They argued with the police so what do you think they would have done with me?
ReplyNosy over noisy. Noise -stomping, slamming doors, music, barking dogs, loud talking, screaming kids, revving engines – these stop you from sleeping or quietly going about your own business (thanks misophonia!). And, you can f*ck with nosy neighbours, like Jim would mess with Dwight in The Office. You can make their nosiness your entertainment.
