Our good friend Joseph Gordon-Levitt has a lot of favorite movies, but the one he’s obsessed with at the moment is Disney’s “Encanto.” Hear what he loves about it in this episode of The Late Show’s “Feature Film Faves,” and check out Joseph’s work in “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber” which airs Sunday nights on Showtime.
Am i first?
ReplyAm I first?! Amazing! Love Joseph Gorden Levitt. 90’s crush for real!
ReplyThe Great Escape – after that the list gets murky
ReplyI agree, favorite film depends far too much on my mood to narrow it down to one. And no issue with adults watching animated stuff, I’ll readily admit that my streamable purchases have more Disney/Dreamworks/Pixar/Illumination/etc titles than your typical adult would have, and I don’t even have the children excuse. Heck, depending on my mood, the first 12 minutes of Up could put it in contention for favorite movie all by itself, and the rest of Up is wonderful as well.
ReplyThe Film Model is lazy, ancient, uninspired, corporately and politically curated to the point of absolute mediocrity, and has no real place in the very near future. There I said it. This is all about to be the history of Printed Media 2.0
ReplyActually had been resisting watching Encanto. Thanks, I’m sold! Got my movie for the night.
ReplyWhy isn’t this called, “Joseph Gordon-Levitt fanboys over Encanto for 2:56”??
ReplyThe Green Mile. I loved it.
ReplyEncanto yes watched it twice will watch it again
ReplyMan I’m loving these Feature-film faves. I hope they get to some gonzo stuff soon like Videodrome or Brazil
ReplyWorlds weirdest yet fitting double features?
Ivan Reitman’s Dave and The Devil’s Double for me…it’s kind of the same movie
ReplyEncanto is also about intergenerational trauma and the scars it passes down. It’s definitely more than just a “kid’s movie.”
ReplyReally, A Huge Show like this make a Typo on the thumbnail???!!??!!?
ReplyIts Joseph not Jospeh
I wanna play tic-tac-toe on him so bad….
