I agree, favorite film depends far too much on my mood to narrow it down to one. And no issue with adults watching animated stuff, I’ll readily admit that my streamable purchases have more Disney/Dreamworks/Pixar/Illumination/etc titles than your typical adult would have, and I don’t even have the children excuse. Heck, depending on my mood, the first 12 minutes of Up could put it in contention for favorite movie all by itself, and the rest of Up is wonderful as well.

The Film Model is lazy, ancient, uninspired, corporately and politically curated to the point of absolute mediocrity, and has no real place in the very near future. There I said it. This is all about to be the history of Printed Media 2.0

Actually had been resisting watching Encanto. Thanks, I’m sold! Got my movie for the night.

Worlds weirdest yet fitting double features?

Ivan Reitman’s Dave and The Devil’s Double for me…it’s kind of the same movie

Encanto is also about intergenerational trauma and the scars it passes down. It’s definitely more than just a “kid’s movie.”
