A big trend emerged in Google’s Year in Search 2021: people want to heal. The Late Show takes a look at how @Google helped people find ways to do just that. #Google #YearInSearch #Ad
The healing isn’t over yet, and it may never be what’s more America’s political divide will probably never go away. But that message was actually pretty up-lifting. Take care of the planet, others around you and yourself everyone.
Google cared so much about it’s new found captive You Tube audience that they doubled the number and length of commercial interruptions for everything you watch. Their profits, have also nearly doubled since the first of the year.
This made me cry. It has been a tough year for all of us. Many of us have never had to face anything close to the trials & tribulations that we had thrown at us in 2021. For me personally, I had a heart attack in July. As a retired RN, I sent many of my patients to the hospital to get treatment… an angioplasty & 3 stent placements. Never once did I imagine that one day, it would be me who would that treatment. Take care of yourselves, my Brothers & Sisters. Know that you are not alone; we can make it to the other side, together.
It’s sick how we old fogeys don’t have much to be stressed about. We’re the ones who are at risk, yet all we have to do is die and for the most part have accepted that. It’s the poor young’uns who take care of us that are maxxed and stressed.
God is nothing if not ironic.
Gross… keep the commercials out of the show. You knew this way wrong.

Here’s an idea for Stephen to bank some coin for CBS: sell the first drafts cards as merch. Lots of them are legit funny, could be worth a shot
ReplyNice commercial – where’s the comedy?
ReplyBeautiful. Thank you.
ReplyI thought they were going to do that stupid Vaxx-scene dance again for Pfizer.
ReplyDamn Google, you had me at hello.
