Look up the Balfour Declaration. It established the state of Israel. But it also said that existing populations in the occupied territory should not be harmed. Unfortunately, Israel stopped reading after the first part. Since 1948 they have considered the entire region theirs alone to control and command. Netanyahu is a savage facing legal problems not unlike what Trump is hiding from now. It sickens me. Full disclosure: I am an American Jew.
