ReplyI’m a psychologist and people coming to therapy to learn how to deal with their anxiety is by far my most common complaint. I spend a lot of time normalizing anxiety and teaching relaxation strategies to stop it from boiling over. Short of a diagnosed panic disorder, most anxiety is very normal and seems to go awry when people start being anxious about their anxiety.

ReplyThe first book of his that I read, All American Boys, prompted me to promote his works. He had a coauthor for the book, Brendan Kiely, who has written a nonfiction book, The Other Talk, which has been a game changer for my views on my personal privilege in life.
