I feel like Yoko’s schtick has been to be a bit uneasy to be around. She’s always played around with it, and I must say she’s really rather good at it. She’s the proto-Aubrey Plaza in some strange way. However, I feel like she was outmatched by Conan’s silliness, and couldn’t quite cope, which again made for a really strange chemistry. When she refused him the glasses at the end it sort of clicked how her artsy mysterious persona and his goofy quirky persona really don’t mix. Like they are a part of different races. Yoko being a rock, Conan a big tall tree.

ReplyWould anyone see anything she ever did as having any value, if she did not fk a beetle and his fame rubbed off on her?
ReplyLook up opine and Anthony talking about Yoko ono music.
ReplyThe play “Hiroshima”, a tribute to the victims of the first atomic bomb, with music and singing by Yoko Ono, opened in New York City this week. One tearful Japanese survivor of the attack, who attended the premiere, called the play, quote, “the most horrifying experience of my life.”
