Responsible gun owners don’t exist. They talk a big game. But doing anything that is responsible about our mass shooting epidemic is lost on them.

Notice how the people who argue that the government can’t do anything about gun control because it’s a Constitutional right are the same people who claim that we can’t make it easier for people to vote in our elections despite the fact it’s also a Constitutional right.

I once heard someone on YouTube say that Republican politicians will only be concerned about school shootings if they happen in their kids’ schools, but even then they might be reluctant to do anything thanks to the donations they receive from the N.R.A. & gun lobbyists.

I’d like my state to have a Governor who could stand up to the N.R.A. & gun lobbyists, but sadly Governor Abbott can’t do that.

Guns have never been more accessible in the US. And mass shootings have only risen in that time. It’s not a mystery – Every other country on Earth has this under control.

I agree, but practically let me tell you that responsible gun owners would be much happier to give up their expensive assault weapons if there was some sort of fair buy back program. This would be coupled with outlawing the same gun types to provide more motivation. This worked in Australia and now is proposed in Canada. I suggest something like that for expensive ammo too.
