ReplyThe Daily Show jokes about “Buy 10,000 bottles,” in the fake ad but somebody actually will. Something like Trump Perfume is perfect for a money laundering business. Putin can’t directly donate to a Presidential campaign. But a billionaire can make a fair market purchase of ten thousand bottles of a stink water that costs three dollars to manufacture. And, wouldn’t you know it, that has the exact same effect as bribes. But since it’s technically a purchase of an object, it can’t possibly be investigated as bribery.
