After their amazing performance of “Racist, Sexist Boy” at the LA Public Library we couldn’t wait to meet this tween & teen punk band. Jimmy checks in with them backstage during the monologue and they talk about going viral and the meaning behind their now famous song, and later in the show they make their national television debut performing live in our studio!

How nervous were they performing on TV??? That was great!!
Replyam I the only one who thinks this is terrible? I mean, I guess if you judge them on a steep patronizing curve you can redeem the song… but that’s contrary to the point, I think.
ReplyAwesome! Rock on girls!
ReplyThey are awesome! I heard they got a record contract. Well deserved. As soon as their album comes out I’m going to buy it to support them!
ReplyAmazing how punk gets reborn wherever/whenever there is racism, inequality and struggle
ReplyBig up to the band, i wish at their age i could think/act/speak/sing/play music like they do~
I love them so much!
ReplyConfirmation that punk in 2021 is no better than it was back in the 70’s and 80’s. But an A for effort!

ReplyI get that ppl love the message this song is sending, but be honest, the song is terrible and doesn’t sound good at all.
ReplyIn the tradition of punk these girls are doing the music proud. Girl power. They would so make it at CBGB.
Reply“We were really angry and decided to write a song about it”
ReplyThe beginning of every great punk band.
The only people latching onto this band are out of touch with modern music.
ReplyCarlos de la Garza is their father

I just never understood punk rock and how it can be entertaining, but idk, everyone has their own preference.
ReplyI respect what they are doing. But why are we pretending they sound better than any other highschool garage band
ReplyWe don’t have to promote everything that has a good cause. Not for me.

ReplyLove seeing these girls be their awkward teenage selves and rock out. I hope they inspire more girls to be bad asses.
ReplyThey’re good! I like the band. I wish it wasn’t “presented by Mercedes Benz though”. I really hated that. Not their fault though, they’re very good!
ReplyTotally old school, love it

ReplyHow wonderful it is to find in The Linda Lindas a kind of renewed energy and enthusiasm that reminds me the energy that one could find in the past when listening to pioneering Punk Rock bands in America and the UK back then! Many blessings to you girls!^_^

ReplyWho’s strangling the cat?
ReplyNot my thing. Too dissonant, and I’m just not into the grunge. For those who like it, go ahead. One thing I will say though, they remind me a little of the 5,6,7,8s and that’s a group I do like, sometimes.
ReplyThis is terrible
ReplyThese chicks are totally old-school punk! (speaking as an aged old-school punk) The kids today claiming to be punk rock could learn a helluva lot from these girls.
