Connie is about my age so when she was talking about the first album she ever bought I was thinking “It’s got to be fleetwood mac: rumours” because that was MY first album. Such a perfect album.

My first record was a 45″ of David Bowie
Space Oddity from Sears in the 70’s. I’m an alien. Kaatu 11. Alien human. Not a lizard.

funFact: Almost everyone, everywhere, in western society will relate to the statement “Music was such an important part of my childhood” and this isn’t just one of the most prolific coincidences in history. It was cultural manipulation and part of global and domestic CIA operation. Experts argue convincingly the story doesn’t just end with CIA assets in the music industry, however.

Every large industry has CIA assets in it. They’re the CIA, it’s what they do. The entertainment industry is no stranger to a steady triple knock at the door and backdoor introductions to people who will be “applying for” a position they are being forced to create or make available.

But in this case, it seems that the rise in CIA activity surrounding the music industry coincides directly with the sunsetting of several other programs that all happen to be examining the validity of mind control, behavior manipulation, and propaganda development. Almost like, they found what they were looking for and closed down all the other OPs.

But I ain’t one to gossip, so you ain’t heard that from me.

What does it say about me that nearly every answer I’d give would be Weird Al?

Bonnie Raitt singing “Angel from Montgomery” … yes, this is a priceless combination of musician and song. What a great reminder. Thank you. And thank you to John Prine.

Songs that remind me of my childhood are things from Nat King Cole, Perry Como, Ella’s Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, and many like that. So it would have to be Loius Armstrong singing What a wonderful world.

Or possibly the Oscar Meyer hotdog song, bologna song, Heinz ketchup “anticipation”, Bumblebee Tuna song, and some of the usual sing-a-longs of way back when, (Row, row, row your boat, She’ll be coming around the mountain, Jeremiah was a bullfrog, etc) and the themes to Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan’s Island, Partridge Family, and Brady Bunch.

I guess it’s a complicated mix of stuff. And then who can forget the Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes theme because we have been rehearsing and nursing our parts. Underdog, Scooby-Doo, Mighty Mouse, Batman, Superman, and on I go with etc, …

My two childhood songs are Alley Cat by Bent Fabric and Never On a Sunday from the movie, Zorba the Greek. I was 5, and those were the first songs on the radio that I loved, and would always stop what I was doing to listen to. Of course, in later years, I found out that Never On a Sunday was a prostitute singing about her “day of rest” which is pretty funny that it was my first favorite song, as a five year old. Quite inappropriate, lol
