I’m always infuriated when flights say they anticipate running out of overhead space and are looking for volunteers to check their baggage “for free.” The gall of implying checking your baggage at the gate for free is in any way a benefit! That’s not a incentive, you are doing nothing to fix the problem!
Do better than Canada is my advice. Our “passenger bill of rights” has holes for the airlines big enough to fly a jumbo jet through!
Reply” what are you gonna do if I don’t pick a seat?”
ReplyAirlines: “There’s a charge for that ma’am”
Tax Jet fuel,and shut up!
ReplyFees for luggage cost more than shipping your stuff UPS to your destination. It’s more likely to arrive undamaged and on time.

ReplyThere is a passenger’s bill of rights already ! Just tell them you aren’t booking, because of their policies.
