ReplyA few months back at a gas station here in Toronto, this older gentleman had too many lottery amd lotto tickets to check and each time the machine played the sorry-play-again sound. I think the penultimate one he won a chance to play an extra card. I just felt such a profound sadness for him, especially having never played one myself.
I asked the gas station attendant if he had ever played himself. He shook his head.
