Ouuu this is a good couch, Patrick/beef stew is extremely funny as always, and graham is still the best talk show host ever!!

Can’t stop watching Graham Norton clips, and on this one I’m even early 🙂

That’s exactly the same anecdote and dialect example he told about on ‘Conan needs a friend’. Seems he didn’t have a lot to talk about with his friends…

Ok…help me here please… do the British pronounce the name “Ralph” as “Rafe?” It sounds like that’s what Graham said.

Kinda think the word might be older than that. Sounds kinda Norse to me

Dont really believe Fiennes there it was like when someone comes on GN and says the total opposite of the reality to sound more noble or even kinder. For example during the odious thatcher era there were plenty of people in the midlands who were made to feel throughly shamed sbout how they spoke

Lek means to play in Swedish and other Scandinavian languages. Cool to see such connections jump out between Old English and Old Norse.

Patrick’s line reminds .e of Oz.The one that would pray something like Asam Adam Lacom.
