So has anyone in chat been to this Big Apple Circus? I honestly can’t tell if Seth is just f’ing with us on this. Before this video, I thought I’ve lived a full life with no regrets. But the only time I went to the circus was decades ago, it had animals (and the smells), and I honestly felt really bad for them. So while I’ve been to the circus, I’ve never been to this particular circus. Am I missing out? I live in WA and work retail. How the hell am I going to afford tickets to see a circus in NYC? But if it’s as good as Seth is saying, I guess I could sell my plasma or something.
ReplyYour audience claps because people must be cruel to animals in America. Here in Australia there is a touring circus that does have some animals in it. BUT they are Loved and cared for greater than Americans treat their own people. look at your terrible health system and homelessness. Yet send billions of dollars to other terrorists to kill innocent Palestinian children. Maybe not clap at what you don’t do, but Think about what you DO, do.

ReplyI think the first Circus performance clown school was in Bristol England. The city has for over 2 decades hosted diverse international traveling circus shows. Various buildings are utalised – stores, train station, old firestations, prisons etc and local artists, musicians, stage etc, all assist with setting the events up.
The public dress up as to the theme – it’s like a movie set-up but with drink and food bars dotted about and performers blending in who react to the crowd. Also, designated areas where performances are held – dangerous, ariel, comic, etc, with announcements for when they will be repeated.

I dream one day we will learn how properly communicate with animals & then we will be able to ask them if they be entertainers, just like humans i bet we would get a few clowns down for fame, but until then im glad i got to see them as a child but even gladder they are now outlawed at circuses

ReplyI worked at Big Apple Circus and they almost smashed me with a dumpster and left me for dead. Lucky I dodged that shitbox and it only caught one finger. But they still fired me before I even got to the hospital. It was a dream turned nightmare.
