Pelosi was fully within her right to go to Taiwan because we shouldn’t allow the Chinese Communist Party dictate the drawing of ridiculous lines in the sand that actually amounts to threats. China is a bully on the world stage. They constantly push their territorial waters further and further south into the South China Sea taking over the territorial waters of their neighbors, and do this all illegally against established international conventions. They build artificial islands in the middle of the ocean and arm those islands to the teeth in order to steal the territorial waters of their neighbors in SE Asia, and they do that not only illegally, but aggressively via their military and the implication of military conflict. Then they want to call foul at a congresswoman visiting Taiwan? Bullshit! That is hypocrisy in its most extreme, which China can take and shove up their ass. They are constantly pushing the envelope via military exercises, territorial conquest, and shows of force that threaten military action, then constantly turn around and cry foul at the smallest little bullshit like Winnie the Pooh. And every single time we just roll over, apologize, censor our media for their market, and let them terrorize the entire SE Asian region. But one politician visiting an island is suddenly so severe that they threaten us with shitty idioms about playing with fire and exterminating us? FUCK THEM. FUCK CHINA. They’re the biggest bullies ever. We welcomed them into the modern world handing over entire industries to them supplying them with the means to create the fastest growing economy EVER settling in at the second largest in the world in under 30 years, and we did that because we wanted to bring them into the fold as a modern country and help them carve out their economic piece of the pie in a mutually beneficial hand up, and this is how they treat us? By threatening us constantly? By threatening world peace constantly? By bitching and moaning and forcing everyone to kowtow to their fragile sensibilities, censoring our own media and culture, to appease their xenophobia or else they threaten us further. FUCK THEM. They’re a bunch of crybaby new money assholes that cheat the world system constantly with their economic manipulation, currency manipulation, clandestine subsidizing that amounts to cooking their books, they steal intellectual property, then a single politician visits an small island they lost half a century ago in their civil war and they cry about it because they can’t let it go. They didn’t even lose the island. The communist party was the rebels. They didn’t lose an island, they GAINED mainland China. It was the Republic of China that lost mainland China and were relegated to an island. But nah, they just have to have ALL OF IT. They look over and see that small island flourishing and understand the economic and technological power that Taiwan holds in the form of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and instead of respecting them and doing what they can to cut a good trade deal they don’t want it the moral upstanding way, they’d rather steal it militarily because that’s who China is. A crybaby sore loser bully that needs to get its eye dotted.

ReplyNot to open a can of worms but the USA could have learned this nearly a half century ago as to, in this particular case, how Golda Meir handled the perpetrators of the Munich Olympics massacre. … So the US instead wages war with one country after another against largely fabricated villians along the way to fill the pockets of contractors.
