ReplyThis was, hands down, the worst segment I’ve ever seen on Bill Maher’s show. It was horribly disjointed and felt so forced. In the last year or so Bill has really earned my respect by voicing his opinion and displaying his ability to criticize all sides of the political aisle, but this just looks like HBO has a gun to his head and is handing him cue-cards with talking points for him to recite. Please Bill, focus your efforts on Club Random where you can be an actual comedian.
ReplyAs a former service member I’m not allowed to fly any other flag that isn’t American or from any US State or territory while I’m on duty. As a current Federal employee I’m not allowed to fly any other flag while I’m on duty. Why are members of Congress allowed to fly a foreign flag. I get it is not the Hamas flag but it’s still a foreign flag that you have displayed while you’re on the government’s payroll. Absolutely not, she shouldn’t have any other flag that isn’t a US or State flag.

Since it is looking like Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee for the GOP (gasp)- the Republican primary has become a race for second place as seen by the Republican debates.
Crazily Trump is running neck and neck in the polls with Biden. That should not be. I believe the Democrats need to have a primary- if ONLY simply to determine who polls strongest against Donald Trump. Anyone can see that our democracy is on the line fellow Americans . We can’t afford even a remotely close race with Trump. Trump wins- game over.
I am of the opinion that as Americans we should demand that the Democratic Party toughen up and present us with a candidate that has less of a likelihood to drop dead on stage in a National debate or worse have a Mitch McConnell moment and be dead in the water. All of US deserve a candidate that can crush trump in an election. Biden is damaged goods he is frail and like Hillary Clinton he is becoming an increasingly polarizing leader and may be compromised by his son.
I mean sad but true- since it is looking like our only option is between two ancient old white guys we ought to elect the smartest and strongest ancient old white guy. One who has always proven to be the most trustworthy of the three and is also a populist who attracts non partisan votes- as close as we have to a candidate that is truly of the people.
The senator from Vermont is still out there, engaged, alert, and alive. I heard a long speech of his on local radio recently and Me Bernie Sanders is at the top of his game and a true representative of common folks, not another corporate American shill.

Hannity is the worst, and obviously Tucker was bad, as is Laura Ingram and a few others. It’s embarrassing/pathetic what Fox largely is…
