I can’t believe the response about Fascism from the University professor. He needs to spend some more time with the guest. She obviously came over from Eastern Europe. Let her explain it to him how it works in reality.
This guy Daniel Bessner seems to be a total fool. I feel sorry for his students. He is a classic example of someone who knows nothing and just likes to use big words and quote others to sound smart. He said so many things that are logically or factually incorrect. Sometimes both at once.
SpaceX alone got a whopping $2.8 billion in government contracts last year and has gotten a total of $15.3 billion from the government since 2003. The people pay, and private companies get the profits.
Bessmer may as well go back in a time machine to live in the Soviet Union if he dislikes private enterprise so much. Every comment he made on the show was directed at capitalism yet he probably is pulling home 300 thou a year (if not more) from his gig pushing socialism at a university. What a joke !

An irony, is that the term “Robber Baron” was meant as a joke. Baron is the lowest level of aristocracy or peerage, so the joke was that both the already rich and the poor should both disdain them as callous and tasteless, nouveau riche, who wouldn’t know their asses for a hole in the wall.
Bill, next week please ask Musk “wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper to bring the earth back to being livable rather than starting from scratch 155 million miles away?”
If it is at all possible to terraform Mars, it’s certain possible to re-terraform earth itself.
The rocket exploding was a failure. A big one. But failure is important. So I don’t look at it as an overall negative, just a new data point to help prevent future disasters.
I think big glasses guy was a little intellectually dishonest here. Fascism isn’t brewing with the libertarians. They basically take a hands off approach. If anything, it’s coming from the far left. Historically, it always has.
There is a cultural aspect to tounges in Tibetan buddhism via sticking it out etc…its respectful. Just saying …
