Who is that dreadful woman? Biden walked a picket line with auto workers, but she’s trying to sell a narrative about EVs? I call bullshit

How ignorant can this stupid woman be? The UAW just came out in SUPPORT of Biden! He joined their picket line — first President to ever do so. They called Trump a scab because he met with factory owners and snubbed the autoworkers when he called the strike misguided. Biden is not going to lose the autoworkers because he backed EV initiatives (newsflash — EVs are made in America too).

This woman’s facts are wrong and completely out of date. NAFTA is not the reason the working class abandoned the Democrats. Union participation was at its height in 1973 when it was ~35%. Its been declining ever since but it was Reagan who really put the stake through the heart of unions. When he crushed the air traffic controllers, that was a signal to big business that it was open season on unions and by the end of the 80s they were virtually wiped out. At the end of HW Bush’s term, it was below 10%.

7:27 Unions are a double edged sword as they can throw you under the bus at the slightest bit of trouble – having work in the UK and USA there are some industries here that are not Unionized that are in the UK.
Some jobs, like teachers, don’t have a choice to join a Union. Even if they don’t a fee gets taken out of their wages. That is messed up

BILL. How do we ask for a signature at one of your shows..like in Salt Lake on April 21? MY AUNT LOVES YOU. She is almost 70 now. She wants to come see you. Love to get even a pre-signed something from you at the show. 🙂

Was she saying unions support immigrants, because unions support Democrats who Republicans portray as soft on immigration? Was that her whole argument for why unions aren’t popular? If I ever worked somewhere that had a union, I’d join. But I never have. And I don’t have time or the skills to start one up. And I feel like everyone higher up in the company would instantly start hating me and making my work life even more hell.

(from the actual show, not overtime) Batya is telling people to listen to Trump but don’t pay attention to his actions (no wall, no healthcare, tax cuts for the rich) and then she blamed Ryan and Mahar of being elitist and talking down to the working class. Lmao!

The U.S. led the world in LNG exports last year at 86 million tons. the U.S. shouldn’t be supplying the entire world with LNG, many nations are capable of both producing and using it. We should reserve as much of our LNG as possible for our use.

LNG leaks methane and other pollutants during its lifecycle. Worse yet, methane is 85 times more potent as a planet-warmer than carbon dioxide during the first two decades after its release, a crucial time in the effort to cool the globe to avoid worst-case environmental scenarios, all per the NRDC.
