Yes, Salman Rushdie is no Azhar Usman but he is the funniest Kashmiri Muslim comedian from lower Manhattan ever.
ReplyDon’t get me wrong I love Salman. But he either lost a lot of weight or should choose some better jackets. Cause the one he’s wearing here is way to big.
ReplyOr it’s easier for him with his limp arm. Yeah that’s probably it
I loved Victory City.
ReplyPremonitions are absolutely real. My dreams sometimes come true; they only last a few moments, but they’re clear and detailed. I once dreamed that I was getting dressed in a dimly-lit hotel room while someone muttered, “You should’ve gotten that checked out.” 6 month later, that exact moment happened when I was on vacation in Prague. I’d gotten a kidney stone attack in the middle of the night. I was getting dressed so I could meet up with the tour leader and go to a hospital. Long story short, I had to get emergency surgery to remove an 11 mm kidney stone. It derailed what was supposed to be a 2 week vacation, and only 2 nights in. Had I paid more attention to that dream and my overall health, I might have avoided it. But it was a necessary lesson; I changed my diet and doubled my water intake immediately. Started exercising more, too. 7 years later, and I’m in better shape than I was in my 20s. I have several more examples that I can talk about, but this is getting long. The fact that I can’t scientifically prove premonitions are real is incredibly annoying. My theory is that time isn’t linear; we just think it is due to the limitations of human perception.

Replyvery very happy that he’s alive and strong!
ReplyNo near death experience, just means you didn’t die or die long enough…. because despite his experience, there are on record, many thousands more that all speak of this common occurance.. but then in the same story relays the supernatural act of premonition.
ReplyWhat saddens me deeply is how he has been forgotten by the country of his birth.
