When Covid hit four years ago, we did a lot of stupid things – because America never reacts to a crisis, it only overreacts.

The pandemic reminds me of when I lived down south. If a meteorologist even mentioned snow, you’d better get your ass and buy toilet paper, milk, bread, eggs, and whatever else you could think of as if you were going to be stuck in your home for a month. 😂

Florida has a population of 22.24 million, and to date has a COVID death toll of 95,015

Australia has a population of 26.01 million, and to date has a COVID death toll of 24,358.

Australia had a Conservative government federally and in most states during the dark days of the pandemic pre vaccine. Yet with 4 million more people than Florida, the entire country still had 70 THOUSAND less people die than just that one state in the USA.

    But, freedom….

Some hits and some misses on this one. He saying they underreacted, and then saying they over reacted. But a couple of laughs in there. We were dealing with an unknown, so the natural response is to over react. Can you imagine how up in arms people would be if we under reacted. Think about that parallel universe of people suing the government.

I never got the obsession with proving who is to blame. Whether it’s a secret Chinese germ warfare lab or one kid with runny nose at the buffet, once it’s out and spreading the only main concern is curing it, not finger pointing and saber rattling. Blame seems useless? What, do you think China is gonna say sorry and pay reparations, or something? So what use is blame?

I detect some contradictory talking out of both ends, as well.

Conservatives hated schools before Covid ever came along — but now the kids missing school was so damaging? Well, not damaging enough to be the number one cause of death — that’s still guns, not Covid, and not school.

Covid is framed by Maher as BOTH terrible enough to warrant immediate action by the CDC — and yet no big deal, the whole country overreacted to it.

It’s almost as if he’d say anything for a giggle. Well, most anything except the plain truth — yes, we’re all a damn sight better off than we were four years ago. Just yeah, we are. The equivalency presented between the two sides is absurd. It’s called equivocation, and it’s a shortcut to thinking.

One thing is for sure — the motherfuckers who drank the disinfectant are damn sure dead, aren’t they?

Reading the comments is hilarious, Bill is about to piss off his entire audience if he doesn’t start spewing nonsense like cnn and msnbc still does. I wonder how many of you morons are on your 10th booster? lol

He said Trump ignored COVID like the dinner check. What he actually did was advise exactly what the CDC and Fucki said to do, but would not do it himself. He was right that most of was ineffective BS.

Teachers have seen a decline in student behavior and academic success way before COVID. Covid just exacerbated the situation. Secondly, if there had been an infectious disease commission where scientists and doctors could look at COVID in a balanced, impartial and meticulous way the pandemic may have gone differently. Unfortunately, the leadership at that time attempted to sweep the pandemic under the rug, and undermined the seriousness of this disease. The focus was on peddling snake oil instead of having a -what do we need to know and learn about this disease.

I thought the reason for keeping kids home was so infected adults didn’t infect their kids who would go to school and infect other kids who would go home and infect their parents who would then die.

Am I better off than I was 4 years ago?

Let’s see…..I’m less stressed at my healthcare job, I can go to the movies again, there is no threat of a virus that killed my family, I’ve gotten a few raises, got married and have a house.

Yes I am better off. I’ll take Biden’s head in a jar above a man who muses about being dictator “for a day”.

In my country (🇬🇧) 1 police force thought it would be a great idea to shame people for hiking in the countryside by filming them on a drone. In my city of Sheffield
on the local news, a police officer on camera was filmed having a go at a guy for not wearing a mask, he was outside staring through a shop window but apparently he was too close to the entrance for the officer’s liking.

When I went to South Korea back in April of 2022, at the time if you were in a club, you had to wear a mask if you were not having a drink 😂 also in South Korea, you had to wear a mask outside, regardless of whether you were up a mountain or not.

Sources Mr Maher? This video is honestly the final nail in the coffin of this idiot’s pseudointellectual on-the-fence mix-the-truth-with-nonsense editorials.

Can’t you try to filter those people with the fakest laugh in the audience?
    It’s getting ridiculous.
I’m sure it makes you feel great but it’s just plain stupid and annoying.
I’m watching it on mute with the subs…
