ReplyIt’s not a left or right thing. Americans normally react to issues if they are presented in documentaries. Stop trying to politicise it, tell the whole story. The left was going against Desantis for this hypocrisy of free market capitalism when it suits Republicans and his Woke Agenda campaign targeting corporates he deemed were promoting equal rights. In fact, Desantis never brought any of this stuff until Disney started taking corporate stand trying to protect the LBGTQ, so don’t patronise us with that bullshit “whataboutism”. The problem I’ve always had with the likes of Bill Mayer is to create this false equivalence between both parties’ narratives to try and pretend to be centred, grifting for clicks.
