The cause of the pilot’s temporary inability to fly – piloting a Boeing.
The Boeing’s gauges temporarily stopped working, causing the aircraft to freefall temporarily without warning.
Unrestrained passengers and crew were hurled to the cabin ceiling, some even held there, until the pilot regained control.
Upon landing the pilot apologized to the flight crew and passengers, explaining that the loss of instruments resulted in his inability to fly the plane.
Only a poor craftsman blames his tools.
