ReplyJohn, try to negotiate an exemption from WGA – even if only for yourself – and write a special episode on the strike. Expand it into a full story on the history of labor action. People need to hear your podcast level lethal attack. People need to see your unhinged yet laser precise takedown of your boss. DO IT. the right and the center are gaining ground while you’re away. in all seriousness, your voice is critically important

ReplyNever cross a picket line! I hope the strike leads to fair pay and recognition of their work. Streaming services and studios’ exploitation of loopholes by cancelling shows just before residuals are starting to come due, creating crunch writers rooms, and hiring non-union writers as scabs needs to stop. I have a dozen great DVD box sets from the past 15 years sitting here, HBO/Netflix/Amazon/Disney/Hulu/whoever else, I can wait all year.
