We need to stop giving career victims the microphone. None of this is remotely true. The US caste system has ALWAYS been based on ownership and wealth.
All this political nonsense about race was created in the media. Slavery didn’t stop in the fields of southern US aristocracy. And it didn’t begin or end with black slaves.
Black slaves were just easier to dehumanize as savages from the “Dark Continent” so it was easier to politically justify keeping them as slaves or at the very least turning it into a controversy large enough to prevent legislation against it. Sound familiar? Yeah. That’s how it’s always been.
Orphans were slaves. Debtors were slaves. Immigrants from Europe who couldn’t find work, slaves.
Slavery was the bottom rung of the Economic Caste system.
And try to remember, only the Wealthy could afford slaves. That same <1% of the total population that's fking everything up today because they have all the power and no consequences. Yep, same people. Just a new version of slavery.
Until you stop giving people like this a microphone and blurring the lines with political diatribe, we can NEVER FIX IT.
So maybe be better. And stop trying to divide the country with political conflicts that have no resolution.
Yep true… Exactly what happens in my town And white people say “those strangers are colonising our nice land and they wanna live only between themselves and won’t even try to be polite even less speak your language… Feels like being colonized and austracized in your own country based on your color indeed….
South Africa had a recognisable cast system too, called Apartheid. If you set aside the propaganda, it’s clear that the A in USA is in fact Apartheid. Corporations and rich people feed upon this system, which is a cancer to the US people.
Even *before* racism was ever invented, the world had a caste system based entirely on *gender.* Still does.

ReplyStrange how transatlantic slave trade began in mid 1500s yet first slaves for the colonies werent brought over until 1619.
