Death no matter what age can be devastating. I believe the really most shocking is when someone dies and you never expected it. No illness, no warnings, just gone. Hold tightly to your beautiful memories, they will be in your heart forever. I was very close to my mom who died 10 years ago and yes I will always miss her but she is always with me and I find peace in that.
Truest words ever. You never know when its gonna be the last time so spend a little extra time with that person.. Have that cake.
