Even though he brings me enormous joy, I don’t know John and this is very parasocial of me (a posture which I loathe) but it really makes me happy for him that seemingly, his son has truly changed his life and helped him get rid of his demons. When he announced his relationship with Olivia Munn and the imminent birth of his first child, many said the writing was on the wall and this was a textbook case of a guy that will relapse but this conversation truly gives me hope that he has turned the corner and those assumptions are just a bull load of cynicism.
