6:15 I get the impression that John has that same kernel of unshakeable confidence within himself that Conan mentioned during his Hiking with Kevin episode. He is way too observational throughout the entire interview about what is going on, but Conan meshed really well with him. Great episode.

About 3 months ago I had a thought in my brain. It was “Is Conan still on TV? He isn’t. What the hell is he up to?” It led me to this podcast and NOTHING has made me laugh and cheer up like Conan and his Chums doing their thing. This episode has been great really had never heard Mayer speak till now!

I lost count how many times I’ve listened to this segment. I cannot get enough of the stupidly smart side comments everybody makes.

You can always tell when someone worked in television, because they always break up the interview in clips instead of just posting the entire podcast.

So true, Spotify just peppers in a few similar songs, but a lot of them are ones I already listen to consistently, made they should have an option that makes it more out of the box or just less popular stufd

Hi Team Coco! I wrote a silly story about a burglar breaking into Conan’s house only to find late 80s to early 90s Sports Illustrated magazines. Enjoy!

Once upon a moonlit night in the quiet suburban town, there lived a rather eccentric burglar named Benny “Boom Boom” Sanchez. Benny was not your typical thief; he had a penchant for the dramatic and a flair for the unexpected. Dressed in a black-and-white striped onesie with a neon ski mask, Benny was ready to take on the challenge of breaking into the mysterious house at 42 Richter Lane.

Little did Benny know, the house belonged to Conan O’Brien, an elderly man with a penchant for collecting pornography from yesteryear. He had been an avid subscriber to all the famous magazines during the late 80s and early 90s, and his collection was rumored to be the envy of everyone.

As Benny carefully picked the lock and tiptoed through the living room, he couldn’t help but notice the peculiar decor – shag carpets, lava lamps, and a faint smell of hairspray that lingered in the air. Porno mags were strewn all over, but Benny was determined to find the ultimate treasure and followed the soft glow of the basement light.

As he descended into the depths of Conan’s house, Benny stumbled upon a room that seemed to defy the very laws of space and time. The door creaked open to reveal a cavernous space filled with floor-to-ceiling shelves, each laden with meticulously organized stacks of porno magazines.

Benny’s eyes widened with a mix of excitement and confusion. “Jackpot!” he exclaimed, convinced that hidden among these glossy pages lay priceless artifacts or secret treasures. He gleefully began rummaging through the stacks, tossing magazines left and right.

But as he unraveled the mysteries of Conan’s collection, he couldn’t help but feel a growing sense of disappointment. Each magazine featured porno stars from a bygone era, their hairstyles more flamboyant than their sports prowess. Mullets, mustaches, and neon spandex adorned the pages. But this wasn’t what Benny was here for!

“Boom Boom” Bungler found himself in a dilemma. Does he take what he’s found thus far or go for the big prize? Speaking of which, where was the payload?! Benny looked around the room and noticed an oddly shaped phallic wall mounted light. He walked over to inspect it and quickly noticed a button on the side which he pressed. A book shelf started moving slowly and revealed a small hidden room that only contained a safe. Benny got out his trusty explosives and went to work immediately. 1….2….3… BOOM BOOM!

Little did he know that Conan, having heard the commotion, had called the Police Department. The police arrived just in time to witness Benny rolling on the floor, gasping for breath between fits of laughter, and surrounded by the motherload of all heists. A pristine collection of late 80’s to early 90’s Sports Illustrated magazines, many of which featured the queen herself, Kathy Ireland. As Benny loaded up the last few copies, the police burst into the room with Conan leading the charge to capture the thief. Benny, who was not in handcuffs was screaming “I’LL BE BACK FOR THOSE CONAN O’BRIEN” as he was put in a police car and driven away.

Now that Conan was alone with his stash, all is well in the world and word spread so far and wide of his amazing collection that Sirius XM reached out to him with a contract and a large bag of money to start his own podcast and radio channel!

Wait, does XM’s stream change based on your timezone? How would “time based” music programming work if not?

I guess I can’t expect a musical genius such as John Mayer to know the difference between venomous and poisonous snakes.
