Beautiful.
ReplyI realized of my stupid decision of eating a Greek yogurt with walnuts while watching this when Downey started miming the guy masturbating to the alien autopsy photos. But when Conan, Sona, and Blay in the background lose it, I feared for my life because I almost choked.
ReplyI cant be the only one who finish up the pod right away after it comes out which for me is in the morning and then watch these as they get uploaded by night time lol
ReplyCan listen to Norm stories for hours. Brings him back at least for a little while.
ReplyWow Jim got old. It happens to the best of us…
ReplyWhat an absolute delight this was to listen to!
ReplyThe reverence Conan has for Jim is very apparent. If this is the first time you’re hearing his name, look him up and realize how much he’s contributed to comedy. Living legend.
ReplyI hope Jim is on a health kick because he is very thin. Almost sickly thin. He could be sick, but I hope it’s just a guy late in life eating well and exercising.
ReplyBeing in that weekend update writer’s room would have been one the funniest experiences EVER.
ReplyNo. Disagree. The laugh that comes with a clap is the height of SNL laughs. Stevie Nicks Burrito Roundup had that.
ReplyLove it when Conan chats to old TV heads. He’s the only talk show host that’s charming and intelligent enough to really have great conversations.
Can’t imagine Jimmy Fallon doing anything like this at all.
ReplyJim Downey explaining the fine tuning of their alien autopsy joke is gold.
ReplyOh my god I love this 💕
ReplyGod I miss Norm. The clapter on late night TV is absolutely out of control.
ReplyWell done on the timing with the strike of this episode. Jim is amazing and conveying the importance of writers right now to people who might not be aware is pretty cool. That resonates here I think.
ReplyBack when SNL was funny.
ReplyNorm was a legend!
ReplyNorm admired Bob Hope who would also stare right after a joke
ReplyI miss Norm so much. I have a cat called Norman Macdonald and before Norm died and back when I had an Instagram, Norm would click the little heart button whenever I posted a photo of him, that was the extent of our interactions, and it was lovely.
ReplyWhen are they gonna interview the skirt chaser frank Wolf?
