I live in Hernando in Florida, everyone has pretty much accepted the sheriff’s deputies stealing during traffic stops and arrests. They are a gang like any other, they’re just state sanctioned. We need to remake our criminal justice system from the ground to the tippy top
To become a police officer a year of therapy and self reflection is a must. Develop compassion and empathy and the ability to listen, really listen. Listen to understand. Then one is ready to help others in crisis.

EXACTLY! And listen to the way the reTHUGlicans whine about how horrible it was that a le officer shot the criminal babbitt after SHE refused to comply. Funny thing is these are the SAME people who talk about cops on the streets not being to blame.
