Bill Hader was trying to direct Henry Winkler, but Henry just wanted to pass out the bundt cake he brought for the crew.

for me the tonal shifts in barry don’t work, but i find it interesting that they work for so many other people
ReplyMr. Winkler likes to fly fish.
ReplyHader’s impression of Winkler is so spot on that if I heard him do a fake interview as Winkler, I wouldn’t know the difference. lol
ReplyGene Shallit attacked me..
LOL
ReplySorry guys, for all the praise, Barry lost me. All the prison stuff was boring. Just seen it all before and it bores. My wife checked out first then I bailed. The show has lost its way.
ReplySomething about the story of this show makes it difficult for me recommecnd it to people, barry is incredible everyone should watch it but how do you explain what it is about to someone else without making it sound dumb? Just very tough to sell.
ReplyBill giving Ali his Wong Harder.
ReplyBarry is a really good tv series, underrated
ReplyYeah, it’s garbage.
ReplyAh Happy Days and KISS were both popular at the same time. So a trend in my home town to be cool was to have a leather jacket like the Fonz and the highest heels you could find. Oh and smoke like Colombo
ReplyHe’s right, you can’t overestimate how unbelievably popular Happy Days and Fonzie and 50s pop culture were, back in the 70s. It was like we/they were trying to find something to fill the gaps in life until we developed some pop culture of our own. It was arguably the first time retro was so widely understood and loved.
ReplyBill Hader is one of the most creative and talented actor come out of SNL
ReplyWhy dont they take their jackets off 😛 stay awhile.. Must be real cold in there..
ReplyBarry is one of the worst, most pretentious shows ever made. And Winkler cannot act. Hollywood types talked into thinking it’s great.
