ReplyI can certainly understand supporting the innocent Palestinian civilians in this as this conflict does look more like vengeance than war at times. But this rhetoric these proffesors are spouting is not it. It’s of a different calibre. That is flat out deeply ideologically imbeded hate for Jews, not support for Palestinian civilians.

ReplyThere is a hardcore communist in my family, because of his hatred and extreme views he alienated everyone in the family. He used family gathering as a venue for his preaching of his communist ideology. He even used to defend Islamic terrorism stating that it was an “expression of freedom”. Basically he was a hate-monger. Karma came for him while debating someone he said something against Islam and people around took offence. Word spread and Islamic terrorism that he earnestly defended started giving him death threats on phone and even identified his home. He was in his late 30s and living with his parents and finally he got beat up badly by few people. No one helped him, his communist buddies abandoned him and his Islamist comrades celebrated his beatings via whatsapp messages. One of his neighbour took pity on his parents and took him to hospital. Everyone reads Marx and Lenin in their teens, but no one with an ounce of brain cell considers it as a word of gospel. It is simple but very dangerous ideology.
