And I further know that I’m sounding like some tight-a*sed whiners who probably hits 11 on the rage scale when Ricky Gervais or Dave Chapelle’s names come up (not) but we’re rapidly entering a phase where “doddery old grandpa Joe” (however gently applied) becomes less of a joke and more of what assh*les (including some Dems) want to hear. And repeat. And use as an excuse not to vote.
It’s bad right now in the US. I should know – I’m one of your upstairs neighbors… and we hear EVERYTHING. (We also see when YOUR spellcheck removes our “U”s… as in neighbor. Did it again. Grr.)
Please continue to joke about everything – but please take with the doddery old fool stuff; Trump’s hate and bigotry and ignorance have gained a foothold upstairs, and like the cliché goes, When America sneezes, Canada gets a cold. (Or Covid. The anti-vaxx movement made it up here too.)
