ReplyI live on the streets in my cabover camper, 5 years with my wife as her health declined as I had promised to never leave her alone and now 8 years since God called her home. I find it funny when between the authorities, aka police, county, or city workers that I have a hell of a time keeping what little I have left. Their way of helping is to take, impound, or discard your property and food and you want to give them the authority to institutionalized anyone on the streets. Let me tell you with the way banks are closing, business are closing their doors, millions of people are flowing in, bugs are being offered for food, the monitory system is collapsing, war is breaking out everywhere, riots are fueling up all over just waiting to explode, and a huge number of circumstances that could arise, you just may find yourself being homeless and forced into a FEMA camp over the decisions your favorably of right now. Getting back up when everything is against you is harder then you think and it get harder the older you get. This idea of help is an illusion. Widowed white male, over 27 under 65, no house, no kids, no wife, no luck, here is $180 a month for everything except general hygiene, clothing, bedding, warm food or shelter. Yep raggy clothing, lack of good transportation, struggle for water and electricity, stress over your safety, bad living and sleeping conditions, cops and muggers always a moment away just makes the perfect environment for starting over. Watch out it’s coming for more of you then you think.
ReplyYou can give the homeless any opportunity but if they choose not to take it, what more can you do? They have to be willing to accept help. If they are not willing, there’s nothing in the world you can do for them that would make them want to change their lives for the better.

ReplyIt won’t work unfortunately the mental health people are woke too a friend of mine was in a mental health facility her original diagnosis was ADHD then she got a new casworker who claimed she was autistic then she got a new caseworker who claimed she was severely depressed well it turned out almost every client that she had she claimed wad autistic her specialty wad autism she saw autism everywhere and yes all of her clients were deeply depressed cause they were not getting the right treatment needless to say she was fired but not until after the damage was done and it was family that had to step in when they found all of their kids were getting rediagnosed wrong it went on for a while crazy idiots

ReplyMental hospitals can have cameras now. The mentally ill need to be cared for. My son lives in a group home, doing well on medication. My son always did well in lock down. They had art, and attention. Then he would get out, cause they can only hold them a limited time.
