ReplyI’m not a teacher. Want to clear on that. Teachers are not paid for not working over the summer. They can choose to prorate their yearly salary so they receive a paycheck over the summer. Also, many teachers are required to take classes over the summer months. I too believe the teacher’s union has too much power. However, don’t malign teachers in situations where they don’t deserve it.

ReplyBuck made q great point! If only we could have Cameras on these teachers!! During the shut down and when schools finally opened in person, the teachers refused to go back to in house learning .. they went to Hawaii for a vacation and posted the videos.. remember that?
