To add to the mental health/education mess, the CA Department of Health has begun a program to train a new mental health category: Mental Wellness Coach. Oh Dear God, more low-trained liberal weenies messing around with our kids. The intention is to serve “up to 50% of children experiencing mental health issues” per the radio promo. I can only imagine what weirdos will jump on that bandwagon. Hope they do some serious background checks, but that won’t catch first-time offenders. I predict the educational level in CA to tank even further than it already is since there’s so much emphasis on “feelings” and gender, and not on actual learning.

School discipline was a problem at LAUSD 20 years ago when I taught there for a year. Wanted a kid removed from your classroom, admin just sent the miscreant to some other classroom. No support for teachers. It was the worst year of my adult life. Don’t miss it for one second.
ReplyI don’t think Asians are necessarily smarter. From what I understand, they generally have stricter parents and take their education more serious. Just imagine if all parents in this country put as much effort in raising their children and held them accountable. We wouldn’t have this generation of imbeciles.
