Complete HYPOCRISY – Land grabbing Putin, what about Israel grabbing land for 70 years? The Israeli government is far worse than Putin because they are supposed to be a democracy and yet have freedom of press than Russia

I have plenty of time for Christiane and just as much for Stephen getting out of her way to answer the questions with as much detail as she is allowed

Real conservatives are wary of Russia, want to conserve the US institutions and Constitutions, support their allies and alliances, respect the military…
The whole notion of “give Putin what he wants” is anathema to what conservatives are and stand for. Right-wing does not necessarily mean conservative and the MAGA and their media are far from what the anti-communist GOP stood for.

But men who are anti-life should? Why is that men who are anti-life get to have a decision or express their views? But men who are pro-life or an abolitionist must be silent? Make it make sense.

Christiane has always had more balls, spine (backbone… the list goes on) than most reporters. Iraq war reporting brought her to the forefront. Her courage, moral clarity and commitment to her craft has been unmistakable, and worthy of every journalistic accolade, IMHO. Her work is always worth watching if you have a spare brain cell to keep up with important stuff.

A Trump presidency is worrying, but since the horrors of the American backed war on Palestine, a Biden presidency is scary too.

Big fan of Christian Amanpour, I was once in line for TSA behind her and was astonished to see TSA take her aside for the big search, when she cam e out I asked if that happens often , she notes “often”–just probably folks not knowing who she is and seeing a woman who might be middle eastern, for pete sake one of the out comes of the “other” hatred, she was very sanguine about it. And she is about my size, she looks so tall and imposing on screen.

Why Americans think America is the best country is naive at best. But we do have the best late night comedians.

Are there apocalypse glasses in America’s merch for Europeans to wear to watch the elections?
Dump Trump 2024! Or as I call him lately : Infected Mushroom (which would be way funnier if my original post wouldn’t return error!)

WTF It seems very obvious that US Americans (and that includes women, for those like Amanpour who apparently haven’t noticed) are hell bent on voting old men into office. Perhaps Amanpour should spend more time on convincing women to not vote for old cognitively impaired men. Just as a reminder, the orange guy with the tiny brain only won the election in 2016 because a majority of white women voted for him. Fun fact: the other candidate at the time was a woman.
