I’ve always adored Goldie but listening to her be so open and vulnerable is just as breathtaking, if not more so than her beauty.

I’m glad Goldie is naming names of those that sexually harassed and abused her – how horrible that she and many other women have had to go through those experiences 😢

she’s an amazing storyteller, so harrowing yet funny. i’m so sorry this happened to her and so many others in the industry.

How is she so calm while unpacking all this trauma from a literal series of SA and a near-death accident and just being so vulnerable and susceptible to exploitation as a lone young woman navigating a shady city? Like how? 😭😱

The sad thing about #metoo is how pretty much EVERY woman in the industry has stories like this, ESPECIALLY from those generations. These stories need to be shared. These men need to be called out. I’m so thankful for someone like Goldie being willing to share her experiences.

Her stories were so amazing and horrifying and captivating all at the same time. Everyone was so quiet listening to what she had to say. This episode is one of my favorites. I know Conan was enjoying the history she was sharing with them.

I am a portrait painter, and I have never been to art school, some people call it “a gift”, but painting and seeing people’s faces was just part of this thing I cannot explain to normal people; that when I look at others I have this weird ability to “know” people deeply, as if their soul can speak to me. This is very difficult to explain since I have come to the conclusion that this ability is not even from this dimension, because it is an instinct that does not rely on our natural 5 senses. Since I was young I always felt like I didn’t belong anywhere, and felt different from everyone, I was able to predict certain outcomes that I myself had difficult explaining how I knew. Some people who’ve met me call it a “spiritual instinct” when I look at people, I just know the special ones, as if I could see who has been touched by an angel, or at least by something otherworldly, the ones who have intensity and magic in their blood. When I was young, I saw Goldie Hawn and I instantly knew she was special, not because she’s an actress, because I have seen quite a few faces, but there’s something about her that has magic, something many look for in our dimension but don’t have. I have only met very few people like this, but I could always tell the odd ones in just a few glances. I cannot always explain how I know, I just know.
