ReplyThat makeup is seriously amazing. eat it, CGI.
ReplyAnyways, I hope Cillian wins best actor at the Oscars ❤️
ReplyAs a lover of classical music, I enjoyed the heck out of last year’s Tar and am excited for Maestro and American Symphony. There’s just something magical about a room full of people gathered to play and listen to complex and often wordless music. Maybe it’s because it hearkens back to an era before the information overload of today, or because it evokes a sense of nostalgia for a time I never lived through.
Whatever the reason, I hope movies and documentaries with music front and center keep getting made by people with passion and insight.
ReplyNot a big movie person but have to admire any performer that spends 6 years to prepare for a 6 minute segment in a film .

ReplyThat Candide quote by the band was a nice touch. 🎉
ReplyWhat a beautiful uncontentious man he is
ReplyBradley is truly one the last true movie stars who can draw an audience no matter what project he does. I saw Maestro and he truly inhabited Leonard Bernstein and should win all the awards.
ReplySix years of studying and preparing for a character. That is dedication. 😊
ReplyI knew who Leonard Bernstein was. Watched him conduct concerts. He was just so happy to work.
