“I don’t look at Democrats as an enemy,” says Arnold Schwarzenegger when asked to draw distinctions between today’s GOP and the party he belonged to when he was governor of California. Arnold’s new book, “Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life,” is available now.

I’d vote for him and I’m a UK citizen lol
ReplyListening to articulate, intelligent people talk about being in politics makes me cry when all we seem to have now are the various Trump family mutants and Biden.
ReplyI love how Arnie’s tone of voice while reading the shirt was “this is so goddamn stupid” but he was very happy to run with it anyway.
ReplySchwarzenegger is revising history here. He ran a corporate-backed campaign based upon the same “tax cuts and deregulation” lie that Reagan peddled decades prior.
Both failed to deliver.
” With his line-item-veto pen he cut billions of dollars allocated for AIDS prevention, battered women’s services, health care for poor kids, drug treatment for pregnant women, and rental subsidies for struggling seniors. As a prelude to signing the 2010-’11 budget, the last of his tenure, Schwarzenegger eliminated $256 million in child care for low-paid workers recently off welfare, $80 million for investigations into child abuse and neglect, and $133 million in mental health services for special ed students””
ReplyPut Arnold on the ballet!
ReplyWhat an amazing man. I vote for him from Australia. I’d even become an American citizen to vote for him to lead the world. Arnold for master of the universe.
ReplyWe could do with a laugh 🙂
ReplyGiven everything happening in the world right now and the categorical incompetence demonstrated by most politicians, especially the current Republicans, I think the tagline “vote for me if you want to live” would be entirely closer to the truth than I am comfortable with. Pity that such an avowed Republican centrist isn’t running for anything.
ReplyThere’s no way in darn hell he would be elected as a Republican!! HE US TOO GOD DARN SANE N LEVEL MINDEDNESS!! Arnold Dankeschön!!!!’
Replyof course he wouldn’t be elected. sure his father was a Nazi so that would get him a few votes, but he’s still pro education, pro vaccine, and pro clean energy.
ReplyDRAFT ARNOLD to be #SpeakerOfTheHouse!
You don’t have to be a House member.
Solid #GOP. Solid Bipartisan. In way better shape than #TFG. Never voted against certifying the Biden election. Minimal baggage.
PResidential Line of succession would have to skip him but I think he could do a LOT of good.
ReplyArnold can be President if there is a 61st Amendment.
ReplyArnold would be a great Speaker of the House. Just make sure he has a giant gavel the size of Conan’s sword.
ReplyWell he hit the nail on the head but the sad part is both sides view each other as the enemy. Yes this is from a outward perspective. Democracts and Republicans seem to openly hate each other these days.
ReplyAbout that constitutional birther thingy…
ReplyWhy was Ted Cruz allowed to attempt the GOP nomination? If he had a legit shot at the POTUS run then so does Aanold.
ffs put a number on 2 parters so we can begin at the beginning!
ReplyGotta love Arnold. He’s got some gutss
ReplyHe’s been in some classic films and is a man of character. Much respect.
Replyi love arnold!
ReplyAlways good to see Arnie on the show. He’ll be back.
