As an aspiring Entomologist, Cockroachs actually move to New York to retire… and wear hats. Cicada males are sooooo showboaty.

You don’t have to live on a farm to know about nictitating membranes — cats have them too.

You said it’s an award-winning piece of television content, when it’s web-exclusive.

CORRECTION: I was the one who corrected you on the Alice Cooper/Ozzy Osbourne mix-up and am very much not a step-dad. I am, however, now a very self-conscious 34 year old…

A shark is a cartilaginous fish in the order chondrichthyes which also includes skates and rays.

And to the person who gave you the fun fact: fish ARE vertebrates, just like mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. They are of the phylum chordata, meaning having a spinal cord, and the subphylum vertebrata, meaning having a backbone.

Justice for the Fish Fun Fact, that was actually really interesting!

Why “release the kraken?” Wouldn’t a better card joke have been “unleash the jackals?”

But then again, when are jackals ever on leashes…? I’m starting to understand your quandary.

Thanks for the ‘Release the Kraken’ on the card. I thought you’d missed an opportunity during the Powell reference but you saved it for the end. The time-delayed joke is always the most satisfying.

    The ‘J’ isn’t silent; it’s just pronounced softly, as a ‘Y’

Pretty sure Ozzy bit the head off of a dove, not a bat.. but hell, he may have done both. Could be wrong, feel free to double check.
