Just my observation here but I find these two have somewhat similar comedic style.
ReplyWith the late night shows, I see it like this: Colbert is the smartest, Kimmel is the most sarcastic, Myers is the slyest (and most willing to go kind of go meta in his show) and Fallon/O’Brien are the whackiest, willing to fully commit to a bit.
Conan does the best remote spots. He is such a legend. The way he handled the whole mess with Jay Leno and NBC elevated him to a true superstar status.
