As a Filipino and someone who used to live in the East Coast, California rain hits different for me in a negative way. The rain is always cold and only during winter season, when it does rain it has to rain non-stop for several days, and I’m so dependent on the sun that gloomy weather now depresses me.
Everyone around me who is a California native all tell me how much they love the rain as their houses are flooded, the sky dark and depressing, and there are several overturned cars on the side of the road.
I’m with Sona. If you love it so much, move to Seattle lol
