I’m pretty sure it’s not that great news for South Korea, BTS has brought billions to the south korean economy and tourism has increased since BTS globalized more in 2017, many people go there to visit all of the members’ favorite places and they want to learn more about korean culture because of BTS. The shares of HYBE (the company that BTS is under) went down after they announced they were taking a break back in june, I wonder how they’re doing now after this announcement. These guys are massive af but them using their privileges for skipping military service wouldn’t be fair to average male korean citizens who give to their community and are overworked daily but can’t skip military service, they did the right thing, this keeps their honor and their reputation in Korea.
They called themselves the army, they can’t be too surprised that it led to the members joining the army for mandatory military service… i mean they literally foreshadowed it
Actually, the South Korean army needs to fight only with North Korean army.
Those soldiers haven’t heard of any music that was not created by the supreme leader for people’s entertainment.
It’s best BTS does their military service. Yoo Seung Jun was banned from ever setting foot back in South Korea for avoiding service by obtaining US citizenship.
