The thing is TV execs are not inherently evil people trying to cancel good shows, in general, they want to promote the good (or at least popular) shows and cancel the bad ones. Obviously, they don’t always make the right choices, but in general everyone is trying the best thing on TV possible, so I think “good” shows get canceled less than what we perceive.

Good to see Conezy loosening up a bit. While he still admirably keeps it classy. It is nice to him more open. Go Conan

Schitt’s Creek is another example of a show that took some time to pick up steam but now is considered a modern classic in television comedy.

1:35, I always heard that saying as “The Devil is in the details”. It’s interesting Conan knows it as “God is in the details”. I’m not sure if there’s some conclusion to draw here…

The Larry Sanders Show was by far the best sitcom of then 90s and it was niche and single cam. Plus John Krasinski constantly “Jimming the camera” substituted as The Office’s laugh track.

And Community was the best show from that legendary NBC Thursday line-up followed by 30 Rock. The Office was 3rd tied with Parks and Rec but still a good show.
