If I was gonna pay $450 a month to cuddle with a stranger I’d use it on a dating subscription then cuddle with my future husband for free. Id spend it on a real therapist.

Personally, I like the idea of a cuddlist. I think most of us don’t get enough human contact. Plus, I’m chubby and make a great cuddler. I wish I had this job. I think I’d be great at it.

Troy was very funny in this. But even though I was laughing at the comedic bits, I was also struck with sadness at *_why_** this service is needed.* We are are so lonely/alone in this world. And it is sad that the internet brings people closer together, yet so much further apart. Would I ever try this cuddling service? Nope. However, I am very happy it exists for those who would. *Let’s all do better.* 🤗🙏🏾

Cuddling is totally underestimated, but I don’t see the point in cuddling with a stranger? I agree that spooning can easily lead to forking.

I have a talk therapist and a cuddlist. Each contributes to my mental health in very different ways. If or when I take a break from the talk therapist, I’m sure I’ll keep the cuddlist. The two-hour, twice-a-month sessions with the cuddlist are invaluable🤗 I had to step way outside of my comfort zone and find a cuddlist who worked with me to accept my need for platonic, nurturing touch and help me seek relationships that recognize and fulfill that need. I think some of the commenters need a long hug🤗 https://youtu.be/Jd1fOf_SWik?si=vs5ocQ7e3a8n7ydR

I’m not gonna say that professional cuddling is a scam. It’s completely understandable that such a profession should develop for a species of naturally social _animals._ And if they’re completely honest about the service they provide and the rates they charge, then it’s other people’s business what they do with their money.
I’m surprised, though, by a cuddle client… in a _relationship_ with someone.

This was so funny,,, until I Googled Professional Cuddlers and found out they exist. Now it might be one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed.
