I know like 2 or 3 taylor swift songs because I’ve heard them on the radio.. People around my age know the same number of songs of hers.. people older than me don’t even know her.. She’s popular among teenagers and those teenagers will grow up and become adults and start liking songs that adults like.. Britney spears was also very popular but how many of her teenage fans back then still singing oops i did it again now that theyre in their 40s?

ReplyDennis Miler had a podcast for four years. In the beginning he was courteous and patient with listeners. Then as the expiration date of his contract after four years got closer, he got meaner and nastier with his loyal callers. He thought he was going to be Bill O”Reilly’s side kick and make a bundle on the that gig. Then O’reilly got busted for sexual harassment and fired from Fox and Miller was left without a vine to swing to after burning his bridges with the podcast loyal listeners. In the end he came off as an arrogant condescending celebrity jerk. I suspect that is his real mode all the time when he’s not faking it for the public. What a waste of time and a disappointment. By the way, the smartest guy in the room personna he cultivate is 90% attitude if you watch closely.

ReplyI knew her in high school, she is an incredibly average person, the only difference between her and anyone else is that her dad was the financial advisor for Meryl Lynch and invested millions of dollars getting the best PR team money can buy. The only reason why she’s gotten so big is because her PR and creative team around her, all she has to do is work for it. I won’t take away the work she put in, but if anyone was guaranteed a dream celebrity career, all you have to do is show up and work, who wouldn’t take that opportunity? Watching her career, knowing how inauthentic it is, and how many other talented people I’ve known at the same time as her who got nowhere, it’s pretty clear to me that she got so big because of her inauthenticity, not despite it, if she was making her own decisions she wouldn’t know what to do.
